Client Onboarding Survey & Tools
1. Choose A Color Palette
You may already possess a vision of the colors for your site. For many of us, this is a visceral and undeniable sensation. Others need a little guidance. And for others, brand colors are dictated by their industry.
Regardless, we can create a unique color palette that is distinctive to your brand and reflected on your site.
Bold and vibrant hues create excitement
Soft pastels offer a calm or sophisticated aesthetic
Gradients add depth and movement to designs
Monochrome creates a clean, professional look
Warm tones provide a sense of approachability
Industry-specific palettes: Consider what colors are most effective in your specific niche (e.g., calming blues and greens for healthcare, vibrant for entertainment).
Color psychology is a fascinating study to understand how colors affect user behavior, and is crucial for making informed design choices.
YOUR TASK
I’ve created a general palette for you to consider. It is an excellent starting point to later finesse. Feel free to pick more than one palette. Jot it down and then write the name(s) in the survey you take in Step 3. Enjoy!
2. Choose An Avada Design
I’ve chosen WordPress Avada themes since 2016 for very good reasons. The biggest? I trust it, year after year.
Visual Builder: Avada offers a comprehensive design system with a visual builder, allowing for extensive customization without needing to code. This means that down the road, my clients are able to add new content independently, if they choose.
Avada provides a wide array of pre-built, industry-specific designs that inspire further creativity. However, my clients and I OFTEN find elements in a website that is unrelated to their industry, but the design is just too irresistible not to use.
Seamlessly integrates with WooCommerce, offering a dedicated eCommerce builder for online stores.
As a premium theme, Avada receives regular updates and offers professional customer support and documentation.
YOUR TASK
Take some time to consider all the ‘pre-built’ designs shown on the Avada site. It is an excellent starting point to later finesse. Feel free to pick more than one design and jot it/them in the survey you take next. Enjoy!
3. Client OnBoarding Survey
Now that you've discovered and notated your preferences, this last step should be relatively quick. Give yourself perhaps 15 minutes, as you'll need to pull up passwords, etc. The form will not save your work, so I recommend you do this at one sitting.
